THE BUDDHA’S STATUE OF NORTHERN DIRECTION

With the initiative of Dorj N teachet to bring thr Buddha God into home town of Darkhan in Burkhant Valley, sculptors headed by the sculptor Damdinpvrev worked for 2 months to depict the Budha’s Statue of Northern direction on the Davhar hill locates at the center of new Darkhan and opening ceremony was made on October 12th 2003 the Holly day, with Baljinnyam and Dashnyam.

In this statue the Buddha was depicted as putting his right hand on knee, holding a holly bowl in this left hand peaceful Buddha faces to South sitting on white marble lotus 1 meter high.

Many companies, individuals, organizations and the administration of the city helped and donated a lot to construct the statue.
